Do you know anyone who paid a company or promoter to obtain the ERT credit and paid a  fee based on a percentage of the refund?

IRS says a contingency fee or percentage-based fee when preparing either an original or amended tax return is illegal.

Kallas-who knows the rules- did not charge a percentage fee for our work for you but we have become aware of many other companies that did.  Some of those percentage fees were outrageous. 

If you are someone you know paid a percentage fee for the ERTC, you may be entitled to a partial refund of those fees.
